Timely and efficient service. While conducting PM service, mechanics found a seal that is failing and requires replacement, so this information was communicated to me, and arrangements were made to have that repair performed. That shows the benefits of having PM performed by trained mechanics and taking care of minor issues that may lead to more serious failures if left unchecked.

Got vehicle in, had to order part for repair, was taken care of professionally and in a timely manner. Have had to have truck in for repairs more than I think a new vehicle should have to be in, not very impressed with new GM HD diesel products for sure.

All there were nice

I made an appointment to have my oil changed, tires rotated, and engine air filter replaced. Air filter did not get replaced because the tech said the filter life was at 60%. It was at 60% but had been reset accidentally and did need to be replaced. If the tech would have physically looked at the air filter they would have seen that it in fact did need to be replaced. I wish they would have just done what I asked in the first place.

This repair started in November and just got done in July. Not Border Chevrolet/GMC's fault. We brought a car in that hit a deer that was dead on the road. It was towed into the dealer. It took out the oil filter and exhaust system. They did a quick check of the car and did an oil change and pressure washed the back end of the car. Then they sent it home to us. I got it home, noticed right away that there was an issue with the exhaust system. Brought it back. I don't have any issue with the dealer, the only thing I would say is to be more detailed when a car gets brought in for service or for an accident claim. The dealership in my opinion was awesome, they realized the issue and took care of us. Their customer service was wonderful, and Mike was on the phone with me many times with updates. The parts were the problem, hard to get and it took several months to get the parts. In between, they made the car drivable, and we used it. This might be a different review if they had not done that.

I only buy a new car every 17 years lately. I seriously contacted one other dealership and it just didn’t seem reasonable or comfortable. The dealership treated me fairly. This time I’m very satisfied with the service both as to the sale and recent routine maintenance of an oil change and tire rotation.

The work was done for less than the estimate which shows integrity! Scheduling was easy, work was done on time. Val does an exceptional job at the service counter, polite and professional. My go to place for service and when purchasing new vehicle.

I usually ALWAYS have a good experience with Border GM but this time Mike, was exceptionally caring and apologetic! They got to my vehicle in good time and got it taken care of quicker than they were expecting.

The staff at Border GM were very helpful and knowledgeable. The service staff were very friendly and explained everything to me. I was grateful for the information that they provided, and I especially appreciated that they covered my driver's seat, steering wheel and put a mat on the floor. All in all, I give them an excellent rating.

I live in Virginia. My Silverado message told me it would loose power in 165 miles. I was North near Pipestone Lake well into Ontario on a Saturday morning. I had to find a dealer soon which I did in International Falls. Arriving at 11:30 am I felt I would be out of luck but no a mechanic was in the shop diagnosed my problem and advised me not to drive the truck further. Unfortunately he could not fix the truck on Saturday but on Monday checked my extended warranty and had me before lunch and my truck ran fine. Thanks to all the folks at Border

Time I was at the shop was reasonable and they were able to get my car fixed without it being too expensive. So all in all, it was a good experience!

Very quick oil change and the employees are very friendly

Do what the customer asks. I should not have to call the service center to get my vehicle delivered when it was on my appointment and paperwork to deliver vehicle. Techs need to slow down and complete the job. Oil was changed but oil life was not reset...had to make ANOTHER call to make sure oil was really changed and maybe the tech didn't reset it. I was told tech reset it. It was not done. My last visit was oil change and engine air filter replacement. Tech did not replace filter because filter life said it was fine. IT NEEDED TO BE CHANGED. I went and bought my own filter and replaced it. All done. Will go else where.

These are the best guys yet at this dealership. We don’t interact with the mechanics, but they interact with the sales and the sales ppl are great! They don’t hide the mechanics in the garage.

Val does a super job at your service counter and on the phone...always friendly and polite. She will keep me coming to your dealership for service. Prior to my retirement I worked with many businesses as a consultant. I live here now and want to be supporting local businesses. I would like to point out that I find it very interesting that most of the sales staff and front window staff walk through the service area and do not make eye contact or any social contact with paying customers. Great opp for those in sales to see when someone might be ready for a new vehicle. Just a suggestion that worked at some dealerships I worked with.

The dealership was fine and I know they were following GM warranty rules but I am not happy. My new truck would not start due to a dead battery. I got it started and took to the dealer. The battery failed a load test once and passed twice so they didn’t change it. To me it failed twice. Once when the truck would not turn over which was verified by the history of alarms and on star and the 1 failure on the load test. So when it fails this text time I will just call for a tow so you can see it don’t start and you can pay for a tow which you wouldn’t have too if you changed the battery.
